Local Governing Bodies
All WWPAT schools have a Local Governing Body (LGB). The role of our LGB's is to get to know the community served by the school and to attend school regularly to gather the ground truth regarding the stakeholder experience in our schools. What is it like to be a pupil, parent or staff member in our schools. How do policies and interventions implemented affect them? How/why does that experience differ for various groups? The LGB will offer challenge and support to the leadership around the experience of stakeholders. They provide the Trust Board with valuable intelligence regarding the ground truth within our schools, the community served and the views of our stakeholders. In this way the Trust Board can ensure that the needs and views of our stakeholders are taken into account in their decision making process.
